Can't Come to Summer Orientation?
It is strongly recommended that all new students attend a full orientation session if possible. These sessions provide comprehensive advising assistance to new students and the earliest possible access to class registration for Fall 2013. If you are unable to attend summer orientation we have two other options available:
Mini Orientation
Mini-Orientation sessions will be offered in July to help students understand academic requirements. Students do not register for classes at a Mini-Orientation session but will receive assistance in choosing classes to prepare for class registration. For more information, contact the Academic Advising Office.
Online Orientation
For those unable to attend either a full orientation session or a Mini-Orientation, a virtual orientation is available here: Online Orientation. The Online Orientation will help give you a comprehensive virtual introduction to Chico State. Topics covered will include graduation requirements, registration, policies and procedures, and much more.
Please Note: These orientation options do not include registration for classes.
